Each 2023 1 Kilo Germania Round was produced by Germania Mint and will arrive to you in brand-new condition. Please note that though these list a face value of 80 mark, this is merely a symbolic gesture. These rounds are not considered legal tender. Upon arrival, you will find your round housed in a protective plastic capsule.

The obverse of these 2023 1 Kilo Silver Rounds features Germania plunging the imperial sword Reichsschwert into the ground. The obverse also contains Germania’s shield, the double-headed eagle of Germanic mythology, and stones carved with runes carrying ancient prophecies. There are also inscriptions on the obverse of the round’s weight, purity, and year of mintage.

On the reverse side of 1 Kilo Germania Silver Rounds, you will see the official Germania mint logo. This design features the iconic double-headed eagle of Germanic mythology as it carries lightning bolts in its talons. The bird is surrounded by olive branches as it looks in both directions—a symbolic representation of the past and the future. Inscriptions on the reverse read 80 Mark, Germania.

Germania Mint has employed a unique visual concept this year in which each weight features Germania in a different position. It starts with the 1 oz version as Germania has her sword safely in its sheath. As the rounds grow larger, we see Germania progressively removing her sword, raising it up, and then plunging it into the earth. Like previous issues, the size of the image also expands as the weight increases.
